Biography

I am James Taylor the owner of Tailormade Escapes. I have worked in the travel industry for over 10 years beginning with the Telegraph Media Group, before setting up my own franchise specialising in luxury tailormade holidays. I created Tailormade Escapes because I believe that the luxury travel market has become saturated with online agents, and customer service has suffered as a consequence. I truly believe that when you are booking a luxury holiday, you deserve a luxury service and I aim to deliver this through the Concierge Club. When I am not creating dream holidays for my clients, you can find me watching, playing or reading about any sport. I am also the proud Dad to a Chocolate Labrador called Branston!

What makes me different?

I started Tailormade Escapes after noticing a lack of customer service in the luxury holiday market. Customers are now crowded with online offers and "deals" encouraging them to book quickly without doing the research fully.

What tends to happen is customers are left disappointed by their experience and often find the holiday under delivers on its promises.

My aim is to put excellent customer service back into this industry whilst still offering the best prices. As I have minimal overheads, and relationships with over 300 suppliers I am able to search the market for the best price on your behalf. I am able to listen to you and understand what is important to each holiday requirement, delivering bespoke itineraries personalised to each individual client.

Many of my clients have come on board after sending me a quote they have already received from another travel agent, to simply see if I can beat it. They are often surprised to see that I can. But I also deliver a stress free seamless service with one dedicated point of contact throughout - me !

All of my holidays are fully ABTA and ATOL protected.
